Your action plan in setting up your Social Media Marketing strategy focuses on the 5 key components:
- Central Hub
- Sales Funnel Process
- Content Syndication Network
- Social Networks
- Search Engine Visibility
To be successful, it is best to first build your central hub, and then your sales funnel. There is no need to start promoting your blog if you do not have a clear offer and if your ultimate goal is to generate profit from your blog you should know beforehand what you are going to promote.
Be ready for when customers come in, you would never open a store without any products ... working on internet is the same. There are so many people that just set up a blog and off they go. Success might take time but spending time now on your offers will be a lot more rewarding in the long run.
Build your content, update your blog regularly. Open and market your blog to the public once it is ready. It is normal to start marketing your blog once you have at least 15 to 20 posts. It is not mandatory, but the more content you have the more expert you are.
Your Sales Funnel:
A sales Funnel (also called sales tunnel or ales pipeline) refers to the process by which you are going to lead potential customer to your sales offer. As mentioned before, your blog – central hub- is the point of entry to your sales offer. Your blog creates an interest by attracting a large number of viewers. Then those interested will pursue further and enter your sales funnel. Once they have entered the funnel, you know they are interested in your advice or products and are you are ready to communicate with them and lead them to your offers, report ebooks or recommendations .
You can use many different types of sales funnels. Sales funnels process can be as simple as referring someone to the pages of an affiliate program you are promoting or as complex as an e-mail marketing campaign via an Auto Responder Series (ARS)
Whatever you choose, your goal is to drive your reader from your content to your sales funnel. You also want to take advantage of the sales funnel to establish a mailing list. As if you were opening a store you want to be able to communicate with your potential customer.
